Vote for your favorite book in the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling!
My personal favorite is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

I think my favourite is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix... I think Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is great too but the ending is sad

hmmm those would probably be my 2nd and 3rd choices, but goblet of fire rules.
first we have dragons.
then merpeople and a ball and quidditch
then a maze, voldemort, sirius, death, and much more, all in one book.
order of phoenix was good, but no maze, dragon, merpeople.

I like the way Harry's all angry and moody a lot in the Order of the Phoenix though and the whole DA thing... but I know the Goblet of fire's great too. What did you think of the movie?

I don't know much about the film.
I viewed the film from a seat where half the screen was blocked by a staircase.
But as far as I saw, it was, well, mediocre.
The D.A. thing was great, but I still like The Triwizard Tournament.

I like the films, well except that first one. I think that could have been better.

1 wasn't good, 2 was okay, 4 was okay, but 3 was good

Yeah 3 was good but I thought that the special effects in 4 were pretty cool too

hmmm yeahh they did a good job with the dragons, I guess
I don't think they did a good job on the 2nd task though...
so, I'm still for 3. The TIME-TRAVELING deal was very well done.
I think 5 has the potential to be the best with the "dreams" and the weird rooms and stuff near the end.

idk I guess Harry will destroy Voldemort and stuff like that.
It's the last bk, right? Or is it the 2nd-2-last?

Its the last one. I can't wait!! Someone told me it's going to be out on the 7/7/2007 because it's book 7 - but I'm not sure how true that is. I think Harry will die too

Harry will die? Never!
That would ruin the whole series since it's titled "Harry Potter" and he's supposedly a "good guy". So he can't die. Voldemort will be destroyed. Those are the obvious facts. The rest like how, who, Dumbledore (oops I forgot he's dead I can't believe it still).

Yeah I've got this idea in my head that Harry and Voldemort will die because if Harry dosen't die the books could just keep going on and on and on and on and on and on.... forever... or maybe not. Maybe he'll just kill voldemort and.... i dunno...

well if Voldemort's gone, everybody lives happily ever after unless Rowling invents some other bad guy.
so Harry will kill Voldemort and everybody lives happily ever after. The End.
Yeah Snape killed Dumbledore in the sixth bk.

But it's going to be the last book... I think, isn't it? So if it is the last book it won't really matter who dies, kind of.

Well, if it's a happy ending, I doubt that Harry will die. It does matter. The bad guys die, the good guys live. That philosophy has been there in all fictional series since Romeo and Juliet, which was I think they call it a tragedy. idk though

You know the first movie? They had to do the scenes where they say "sorcerer" twice coz its "philosopher" in some places. Here its "harry Potter and the philosophers stone", but it seems a waste of time doing some scenes twice just because of one word.

Yeah. At first on the poll options, I added "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" but it wouldn't let me add that many characters.
Philosopher's was the word used in the paperback versions of the book...

It seems like she is definitely going to release it in the summer and if she takes just as long, then it will be done by summer 07. summer 08 is the other option and that's a bit far...
But there are some problems, she said what was meant to be 1 chapter has become 4. So maybe it will be longer...
She says that it will be by no means larger than Order Phoenix, hopefully smaller than HBP.
